Our expertise extends throughout the Project development cycle – including policy development, strategic and detailed planning as well as implementation oversight.
Over the last twenty years, Nomad has built up extensive in-country experience in South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and is increasingly building a global footprint. To date, Nomad been able to collaborate on projects in over 34 countries.

GREG HUGGINS
Greg Huggins is the managing director of Nomad Consult and has over 24 years of experience in social management and resettlement planning.
Over this period, Greg has been able to work in over 28 different countries and on major projects across multiple industry sectors (including mining, oil and gas, public infrastructure and dams). As a matter of principle, all work is done to meet international good practice requirements.
Greg’s experience and international profile has been extended his role into supporting Clients in terms of policy development, general advisory services, training and due diligences as well as being on the Project Management Units of major development projects.
MARCO DA CUNHA
Marco has over 16 years of experience in social management and resettlement planning, and specialises in the preparation of Social Impact Assessments, Resettlement Action Plans, Social Monitoring Studies and Social Due Diligences.
Marco has been able to work in over 20 countries – mostly in Sub-Saharan Africa but also in South-Eastern Asia and increasingly in the Middle East. His experience crosses multiple industry sectors (including mining, oil and gas, public infrastructure and dams).
Marco specific strength lies in the planning, design and implementation of fieldwork studies. This include questionnaire design, data collection, database management systems and data analysis.
